Versioning

The installed package metadata is the runtime source of the version:

from importlib.metadata import version

installed_version = version("ddp-utils")
print(installed_version)

The current project version is 3.3.1. The package metadata supports Python >=3.11,<3.12.

Version 3.0 established the current snake_case public naming policy and removed old camelCase entry points. Projects upgrading from an older major line must update those imports and calls rather than expecting compatibility aliases.
